The institute adopts 4+0 education mode, which means the students who meet the requirements of both universities will be awarded SWUFE’s Bachelor’s degree certificate and graduation certificate and the corresponding UD’s degree of Bachelor of Science certificate for Management Information Systems, Finance and Operations Management. It doesn’t necessarily require the students to study at UD for the issue of UD’s degree certificate. (If academic and language performance meets the requirements, students can also choose 2 + 2 or 3 + 1 education mode.)

The institute has a total enrollment scale of 720 students, and starts to enroll 60 science students from high schools for each of the three programs respectively since 2020.

SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science is located in the Liulin Campus of SWUFE in Wenjiang District, Chengdu. The Liulin campus has beautiful and quiet environment, and constructed with modern, digital, and ecological infrastructure. Are there any requirements for English scores of the college entrance examination? Can students adopt full English lectures as soon as they enter university ？
At present, there is no requirement for the score of the college entrance examination. The institute uses heuristic teaching mode and small class can encourage students to adapt English teaching environment. During the freshman year, the institute equips with a Chinese teaching assistant to help students effectively digest knowledge. Depending on the learning capacity of students, their English level will be significantly enhanced after a period of time.
What is the graduation requirements for the SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science?
Language scores (TOEFL 90 or IELTS 6.5), and academic scores meet both universities requirements.
