On May 25th, led by Mr. LI Ye, Deputy Head of Administration of Glasgow College, a delegation from the Glasgow College at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China visited our Institute to discuss various aspects, including mechanisms for running Sino-foreign joint Institutions, undergraduate cultivation models, enrollment and further studies, international exchange and cooperation projects, and teaching and quality assurance systems. The Dean of our Institute, Professor YANG Shilei, Associate Dean and Associate Party General Branch Secretary of our Institute, Mr. WANG Binyu and other colleagues attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Yang Shilei warmly welcomed the delegation and briefly introduced our Institute's establishment, educational features, operational mode, and enrollment status. He emphasized the importance of research, exchange, and mutual learning for the sake of common development. Wang Binyu then focused on introducing our Institute's distinctive practices in student cultivation, enrollment, teaching, and administration.
Li Ye expressed gratitude for the warm reception and briefly introduced the related situation and innovative practices of their institution. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on issues of mutual interest.
Through this conference, both parties gained a deeper understanding of current development trends in the Higher Education industry and reached a consensus on joint institutions, which is of positive significance for improving our Institute's management level and promoting development.
