In order to further strengthen the educational cooperation between universities and secondary schools, explore the new model of talent cultivation and selection under the background of the comprehensive reform of college entrance examination. From May 10th to May 14th, Dean Yang Shilei, Director Lou Yaqi, and Instructor Yi Jiawei of the Enrollment Team of Southwest University of Finance and Economics went to Ya'an, Sichuan Province, and several secondary schools in Hubei Province to implement the construction of high-quality student source base.

The Enrollment Team of Southwest University of Finance and Economics signed high-quality student source base agreements with Ya'an Middle School and Mingshan Middle School in Sichuan Province and Hanchuan No.1 Senior Middle School, Wuhan Foreign Language School, Wugang No.3 Middle School, First Affiliated Middle School, East China Normal University, Wuhan No.3 Middle School and E'nan Senior Middle School in Hubei Province respectively, and awarded "High-Quality Student Source Base" plaques.

At the meeting, The Enrollment Team made a detailed introduction from the history, discipline characteristics, professional advantages, employment situation and international exchange and cooperation of SWUFE, which deepened the secondary schools' understanding of SWUFE's strength and advantages under the background of "new finance and economics" and "new liberal arts". The Enrollment Team also had a profound discussion on their respective schooling philosophy and talent cultivation mode with the leaders of each secondary school.

We hope to take " High-Quality Student Source Base " construction as an opportunity to build a bridge of communication between universities and secondary schools, so as to help secondary schools improve the quality of talent cultivation and students' development, as well as further enhance the popularity and recognition of SWUFE, in order to deliver stable student sources for SWUFE.
