On the morning of July 4th, the SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE held a meeting to discuss the work process of the undergraduate mentorship over the 2021-2022 academic year.

​On September 25th, SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE successfully held the Welcome Ceremony for Class of 2021 in Room 105 of the Hong Yuan Building.

Dean Yang Shilei, Director Lou Yaqi, and Instructor Yi Jiawei of the Enrollment Team of SWUFE went to Ya'an, Sichuan Province, and several secondary schools in Hubei Province to implement the construction of high-quality student source base.

From December 14th, SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science offered live broadcasts of online lectures to students of three programs (Finance, Management Information Systems, Operations Management) via ZOOM.

In order to enhance freshmen’s understanding of the university's history and to help students learn currency culture, the SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science arranged for students from three different majors to visit the University History Museum and the Monetary and Financial Museum in October.

Monday 14th September marked the start of a new journey for the inaugural class of 2020 at the SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science as students formally started classes.

On September 10th, SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE successfully held the Welcome Ceremony for Inaugural Class & Appointment for Joint Program Directors in Room 105 of the Hongyuan Building on the university’s Liulin Campus.

​With the development and propulsion of education opening to the outside world in the new era, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics and the University of Delaware jointly established SWUFE-UD Institute of Data Science at SWUFE so as to adapt to the needs of the times and integrate into the implementation of national Big Data strategy.
