Dr. Sharpe’s research focuses on applications of natural language processing (NLP) on the initial public offering (IPO) filing process. He was named Outstanding Senator by the Graduate Student Government at UD in 2022 for his contributions evaluating the cost of living for UD graduate students. He was named a Data Science Institute fellow in 2023.
